Possessing a passion for and extensive experience in the alarm industry, Utana Del Valle with her husband George Del Valle, formed what would later become IE Alarm Systems in 1985. Since that time, our commitment to providing reliable full-service security solutions, superior customer service, and protection customers can trust has never wavered.
Today, IE Alarm Systems is still a locally owned and operated company, staffed by a team of extensively trained professionals who live and work in the communities we serve. For decades, we’ve built a reputation for our attention to detail, design, and commitment to put the customer first, and we continue to strive to fulfill the fire and security needs of commercial customers throughout the Inland Empire with even greater levels of service and technologies.

Richard Jimenez – President
With over 25 years of experience in the security industry, Richard is vastly skilled and knowledgeable in all aspects of fire and security alarms, camera systems and access control systems. Joining IE Alarm Systems in 1994 as an installation technician assistant, Richard’s hard work, dedication, leadership and knowledge lead him to become President of the company in 2010. Educated in Business Management and Accounting, he works alongside the Controller in the management and operations of IE Alarm Systems.
Richard is highly involved in the security industry. He was past President of the Inland Empire Alarm Association and past board member of the California Alarm Association. He is currently Vice President of the Inland Empire Alarm Association and board member of WBFAA.

Debbie Swanson – Controller
Debbie joined IE Alarm Systems in 1986. She oversees all finance, accounting, and administrative activities. She works alongside the President, supervising the operations and management of the company. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from CSUSB.

William Espinoza – Install Manager
William first joined the company in 2005 as an Installation Technician and was promoted to Project Manager in 2012. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, William leads a team of installers and technicians in all aspects of project installation, equipment, and scheduling. He collaborates with the Project Coordinator to ensure project completion and efficiency.

Robert Talamantez – Project Manager
Robert first joined the company in 2020 as a Project Manager. With over 27 years of experience in the industry, Robert leads a team of installers and technicians in all aspects of project installation, equipment, and scheduling. He collaborates with the Project Coordinator to ensure project completion and efficiency. Robert is a key part in the fire alarm design and installation process here at IE Alarm Systems.

Devin Swanson – Project Coordinator
Devin joined IE Alarm Systems in 2014 as an Administrative Assistant. In 2017, she moved into the service department as Service Coordinator, attaining knowledge in programming of Honeywell Security and Access Control and DMP systems. In 2019, Devin transitioned into the projects department and was promoted to Project Coordinator. She works closely with the Project Manager, assisting with project scheduling and maintaining project documentation. She generates billing for projects, provides administrative and technical support, and performs programming for both the installation and service departments. She has a Bachelors Degree in English and Woman Studies from UCR.

Thomas Haar – Operations Coordinator
Thomas joined the team in 2017 as Inventory Manager. With his knowledge and education in business, he quickly moved to Operations. He is a key part in management, improving organizational processes, productivity, and efficiency as well as providing quality assurance, financial auditing, and facility maintenance. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and a Professional Certificate in Project Management.
